Dr. Carolyn AlRoy is a licensed Psychologist. With her unique blend of training and experience, she assists people in individual, relationship and work related concerns. A Phi Kappa Phi in psychology, she is a graduate with a masters degree in educational psychology from Kean University. Dr. AlRoy earned her doctorate in Child Clinical and School Psychology at Pace University in 1998 after completing internships at Bayonne Board of Education, and Jewish Child Care Association, and Interfaith Medical Center, where she worked with children, adolescents, and adults. Her dissertation examined successful components of AIDS education for college students. Since graduating, Dr. AlRoy has worked at Newark Beth Israel, Jersey City Board of Education, and the Westlake School with special education students. She also provided counseling to survivors of the World Trade Center tragedy. |
